Healing beyond the mind: My AMP experience

I believe this wasn’t just a program — it was a retreat to reset the subconscious mind.
When we seek change in life, we must return to the root cause. Our mind works like an iceberg — most of its patterns lie hidden beneath the surface. The subconscious, conditioned since birth, silently governs much of what we experience. What manifests in the physical world first takes form at a subtle level within us.

Before attending AMP, I was already in a natural state of silence. My lifestyle is mostly inward — I spend much of my time in self-reflection. We often think we consciously choose change, but many shifts arise from the depths of the subconscious.

I don’t know to what extent AMP has touched those deeper layers within me, but something certainly moved. Two moments, in particular, shook me emotionally and spiritually.

The first was the sound of the flute played by Amit Bhaiya — yet it felt as if Krishna Himself was playing it, just for me. Every morning before i start my day at work i chant this affirmation  which is stuck on my laptop for few months now – “Like the sound of Your flute, let me dissolve into the rhythm of Your devotion.” I always used to wonder why He never played the flute for me — but now I realize, this experience was not random. I call it a spiritual blessing; others may call it mystical — both are true in their own way.

The second was healing. I began my journey carrying a deep physical sickness (fever and allergic cough), one I consciously hid from my family, knowing they wouldn’t have let me travel otherwise. Yet after the sessions, a quiet calm replaced the suffering — as if I left all my pain behind in AMP.

The third was one of the processes where we cleansed the emotions stored in the meridians. It made me feel completely empty — inside out — as though something heavy was leaving my system.

Throughout the session, Divine spoke — not through words alone, but through silence, energy, and inner clarity. The direction and answers to countless questions came so naturally that it felt as if the Lord Himself had come down in human form to converse with me.

Could anyone ask for more?
These are only a few reflections at the physical level. What unfolds ahead in my life will reveal the deeper, subtle shifts that have taken root within.
The morning after returning, I woke up with a quiet feeling — “Why am I here?” — yet I chose to simply sit in silence. That silence now feels effortless, peaceful, and full of grace.

As a Mudra Therapist, I’ve been sincerely practicing the Life Changing Mudra and Therapeutic Mudra for nearly two and a half years now — they have been a constant source of balance and transformation in my journey. AMP, in its own divine way, felt like a continuation and deepening of that same inner work — as if both were guided by the same Higher Hand.

My deepest gratitude to my Guru, Divine and Amit Bhaiya.
I hold profound respect in my heart for you bhaiya — words fall short of expressing it. I bow down to your lotus feet. Jai Gurudev!

If the Lord wills, He will write Part 2 of this journey. For now, I rest in gratitude — and I know I will return for another AMP in a few months, to continue this beautiful inner unfolding.

The Fire Within – A Journey of Inner Transformation

My intention behind this painting was to portray the Sun — the ultimate source of light and love in the universe. Just like love, sunlight is warm and nourishing, making us feel held and alive from within.

But when I looked at images of the Sun from NASA and ISRO, I noticed something deeper — explosions of fire constantly erupting within it. That visual struck me.

The Sun burns itself to give light to others. It sacrifices itself so that life on Earth can exist. That selfless act became a symbol for me — of inner fire, of love, and of transformation.

From the perspective of the five elements, especially Agni (fire), this element represents transformation. And so, I chose to reflect that intense, almost desperate urge for inner transformation — which then radiates outward as the beauty we see in the world.

This painting is a reminder:

The fire within — though explosive, painful, and raw — is what gives rise to light, life, and outward beauty.
Our inner world, with all its chaos, becomes the very reason the outer world begins to shine.

2024: A Year of Miracles, Growth, and Divine Surrender

As I reflect on 2024, my heart swells with emotions—of gratitude, awe, and reverence for how life has unfolded. What began as a year filled with challenges transformed into an extraordinary journey of manifestations, spiritual blessings, and profound realizations.

Manifesting Dreams Beyond Imagination

The year began with chaos—work pressure at the office mounting, the uncertainty of finding a new flat, and moments of utter exhaustion. For months, I juggled undue pressure at work with increased responsibilities and flat-hunting trips, facing rejection after rejection. Yet, after relentless efforts, I finally found a home in a dream community, one that aligned with my heart in every way. The flat was on the third floor—a number that has always held a special place in my life, symbolizing harmony, luck, and divine connection.

Shortly after settling in, I stumbled upon an old diary. In its pages, I found a forgotten wish I had written years ago—my dream of traveling internationally for the first time, specifically to Europe. This year, that wish became reality. When my trip was confirmed, tears streamed down my face. I hadn’t even remembered writing that wish, but the universe had, and it delivered in the most beautiful way.

Europe was nothing short of magical. I’ll never forget standing in Scotland, caught in unexpected rain without a jacket or umbrella. Nervously, I wished for the rain to stop—and miraculously, it did. Hours later, after buying a raincoat, the rain began again. It was as if the universe was reassuring me that my smallest prayers are heard and answered.

A Gift That Transformed Me

This year also brought me The Magic, a book gifted by my divine mother on her birthday. Its lessons on gratitude opened my eyes to the power of appreciating life, even during the toughest moments. It wasn’t just a book—it became a guide that helped me embrace life’s miracles, big and small, with an open heart.

A Spiritual Awakening

One of the most transformative experiences of 2024 was attending a seven-day course that began on Guru Purnima and ended just a day before my birthday. It felt like a divine gift, an orchestration by the universe that left me feeling deeply connected to my spiritual path. On my birthday, I felt blessed in ways words cannot capture. It was as if the universe was saying, “Here is more than you could have ever asked for.”

Exactly a month later, I was given an incredible opportunity at my workplace to deliver a Mudra Awareness session. Surprisingly, it became a turning point, as I received an overwhelming response that exceeded all expectations. This experience marked the beginning of the sessions I started conducting to spread awareness among family and friends, gradually expanding from the known to the unknown. It was the start of a journey of connection, learning, and growth.

Becoming an Instrument of Healing

Amid these blessings, I began to feel called to give back. This year, I started conducting meditation sessions, guiding others in their healing journeys. Every time someone shared their transformation, I felt a deep sense of fulfillment. It’s humbling to be a part of someone’s path to peace and self-discovery.

Jagannath Puri: A Pilgrimage of the Heart

The year’s culmination was my trip to Jagannath Puri, a place that holds immense spiritual significance for me. As I stood before the sacred temple, memories of the Jagannath temple in Medica Super Specialty Hospital flooded back. It was where my late mother, my greatest guide and strength, found solace during her final days.

I knelt before Lord Jagannath, asking for a place at His feet, but instead, I felt Him pulling me into His heart. That moment melted something within me. The temple reminded me of my mother’s unwavering faith and how, even in her toughest days, she never stopped seeking divine grace.

Puri is the sacred spot where, as the legend goes, Lord Krishna’s heart descended, and from it, the iconic idol of Jagannath was created. For me, this journey was not just physical but deeply spiritual—a merging of hearts, a connection that felt like coming home to my soul.

I stood there, tears rolling down my face, feeling my heart expand with gratitude and awe. I realized that this was more than just a trip; it was a reminder that no matter where life takes us, the love and strength of those we hold dear stay with us, guiding and protecting us.

Let’s focus on the section about your physical ailments and how they shaped your journey in 2024. Here’s a draft of that portion:

Embracing Pain as a Pathway to Wisdom

This year also brought three deeply challenging episodes of physical suffering that tested my resilience and faith. The first struck soon after I returned from Europe, leading to a month of tremendous pain and struggle. The second came after nine days of fasting during Navratri, lasting over two and a half months. It was only after I visited the sacred Jagannath Temple in Puri during Christmas that I found relief. The third episode, though brief, occurred just days before my return from Puri.

Each period of suffering was profound and transformative. During those moments of intense pain, my unwavering faith in the Divine Presence and the love of Lord Jagannath kept me afloat. The trials became opportunities for immense inner growth, teaching me lessons of acceptance, surrender, and resilience.

In the depths of pain, I found solace in the realization that my late mother is in a far better place now—a thought that brought me peace even amidst the turmoil. These challenges deepened my connection to my faith and imparted a wisdom that will stay with me forever.

Takeaways from 2024

  • Healing Is a Shared Journey: Conducting meditation sessions this year has been humbling, teaching me the beauty of being an instrument in someone’s healing process.
  • Surrender Brings Fulfillment: Letting go of control and trusting the process brought blessings far beyond what I could have imagined.
  • Faith in Action: From forgotten wishes to spiritual awakenings, 2024 proved that faith, combined with consistent effort, creates miracles.
  • From Struggles to Upliftment: The year began with challenges and struggles but evolved into a journey of growth and awakening. The trip to Jagannath Puri symbolized this transformation—melting away the weight of life’s difficulties and immersing me in the heart of creation, where divine connection and grace led me to peace and profound understanding.

Each moment of 2024, from the struggles to the blessings, carried a lesson: that life is a journey of faith, gratitude, and surrender.

May we always find the courage to surrender, the heart to believe, and the strength to embrace the beauty of the unknown.

Whispers of the Divine: A Mother’s Love Across Realms

They say you embarked on a new journey to a heavenly abode, but to me, you have always transcended human form, even while you walked this earth. Your extraordinary ability to read my mind and see into my heart was a rare gift. Despite the generational divide, you understood me in ways that no one else ever could. It felt as though you lived in my soul, grasping every nuance and detail far beyond what those my age could ever comprehend.

Your prayers and boundless love—both maternal and divine—made the impossible possible. They shaped my very belief system, instilling in me a faith that continues to guide me today. When life overwhelmed me, simply placing my head beneath your veil wiped away my pain, allowing me to find solace in your presence. You were my refuge.

Like the nurturing arms of Mother Nature, you allowed me to thrive under your care. Even when I faltered or neglected my responsibilities, much like how we often take our planet for granted, you forgave me without hesitation. You continued to give, as only a mother could. I slept in your protection and awakened each day wrapped in the warmth of your love. Not a single moment passes without feeling your protective shield around me—in every breath I take and every stirring of my heart. The sheer ehsaas of you lingers in the air, reminding me of the goddess you always were.

Worshipping Ma Durga brings me back to you—the way your love, care, and blessings empowered me to face my inner demons. It was your nurturing spirit that helped me conquer my shortcomings, allowing me to focus on the strength you always recognized in me.

When I invoke Ma Laxmi, I remember the abundance you blessed me with—not just in material wealth, but in spiritual prosperity and self-knowledge, guiding me toward liberation. You opened my eyes to the riches within, treasures I carry with me every day.

And then there’s Ma Saraswati—she brings back the peace I felt in your presence, the serenity found in the safety of your veil. You awakened a power in me that I didn’t know I possessed, the limitless potential that fuels my journey.

Ma Saraswati also reminds me of that bittersweet moment when the world outside bid farewell to her idol while I was bidding farewell to you, as you left this realm during your cremation ceremony.

It wasn’t mere coincidence; life has no random acts. There was a deeper synchronicity at play, as if the universe mirrored my grief, reminding me that just like the goddess you were, you will always be a part of me.

“The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched—they must be felt with the heart.” – Helen Keller

You are my eternal guide, my divine mother, and in every breath, I carry your essence with me, forever intertwined.

Spirituality Made Simple: A Modern Approach to Inner Peace

Recently, a close friend asked me, “Hey, why don’t you give me some tips on spirituality?” The question took me by surprise, but it also brought a smile to my face.

Some people often look at me as if I’ve renounced all worldly pleasures just because I don’t go clubbing or socialize in the way many do and because I am single in 30s. The truth is, I’m selective in my choices, both in how I spend my time and the people I choose to be with. I deeply value my time and prefer to invest it in ways that align with my values and priorities.

It made me realize how many misconceptions people have about what spirituality truly means.

When most people hear the word “spirituality,” they often envision a life detached from material possessions, perhaps living as a sage in the Himalayas or engaging in rigorous rituals at home. This image, while not entirely incorrect, is just one facet of spirituality. The reality is much more accessible and deeply woven into our everyday lives.

Spirituality has become a topic of great interest in our era, as more and more people worldwide seek to take control of their lives. They are starting to recognize their responsibility towards themselves—their well-being, their mental health, and their overall happiness.

When my friend asked for advice, I explained that spirituality is not about renouncing the world or living an austere life. Instead, it’s about living fully in the present moment and making the most of each day. It’s about striving to improve yourself every single day, whether that means taking care of your mental well-being, staying physically fit, eating healthy, or maintaining focus and dedication in your work. It’s about cultivating healthy relationships and being the change, you wish to see in the world.

In essence, spirituality is about conscious living. It’s about responding to challenging situations with calm and clarity, rather than reacting impulsively. It’s about staying alert, being mindful of your thoughts, actions, and their impact on others. Unfortunately, in today’s fast-paced world, spirituality is often misunderstood as something unattainable or irrelevant, especially by those who are caught up in the rat race, neglecting their health, well-being, and personal growth.

But spirituality is far from a taboo or a relic of the past. It’s a way of life that brings balance, peace, and a deeper understanding of oneself and the world around us. I truly hope that more people will come to see spirituality for what it really is—a path to living a more fulfilled and conscious life. May Lord Krishna guide us all towards this wisdom.

Hare Krishna!
