Eternal Love: A Mother's Legacy Personal Triumph

Her Light

There were many moments in my life when my belief system was shaken, and hope seemed like a distant flicker. In those moments, I always turned to Mumma. I would sit with my thoughts, reflecting on how she imparted so much strength to me—how she could find even a single ray of hope in the darkest of times, where I saw none.

Her unwavering faith in my potential carried me further than I could have imagined. Without it, I might have landed nowhere. Today, as I look at where I stand, I realize that it is because of her blessings and belief that my mind has been trained, my spirit strengthened, and my path illuminated.

I am still on my journey—far from the heights the universe envisions for me—but with every step, I strive not just for myself, but to honor her. Every achievement, every milestone, every small victory is a way to lift her higher, to make her pride and blessings shine even brighter through me.

A mother is a guiding light, and we are never too old to share our challenges and struggles with her. She is a ray of hope in the darkest moments, where everything else seems impossible. I once wondered if sharing more might have spared me some pain—but now I trust it was part of a larger plan, God’s way of preparing me and carrying forward what her presence had already begun in me.

This is my journey, and it is hers too. Through her faith, I have learned that even in darkness, there is light. And that light carries the power to shape our destiny—one step at a time.

When Dreams Arrive at the Wrong Time

✨ Sometimes certain dreams do come true; it’s just that the timing feels incorrect to the extent that it feels meaningless. ✨

This thought resonates deeply with many of us. The dreams we once cherished may manifest when we’re not fully prepared to embrace them, leading to feelings of disconnection or disappointment.

“Timing isn’t just about the moment; it’s about the readiness of our spirit to hold what we once dreamed of.” — Priyanka Murarka 🌱

I’ve experienced moments where the unexpected realization of dreams left me feeling unprepared. Practices like mudra therapy became my anchor for calm and balance.

🧘 Gyan Mudra for Peace

Touch the tip of the index finger to the thumb, paired with deep breathing, to reduce restlessness and foster acceptance.

Reflections on the Complex Interplay Between Dreams and Timing

The Right Timing
Achieving a dream at the wrong time can teach us the value of patience and growth. It often shows that we need to develop more before we can fully appreciate our achievements.

🚀 Value in the Journey
Every step toward a dream holds valuable lessons. The journey itself shapes who we become and highlights that the process can be just as meaningful as the destination.

🔄 Reassessing Dreams
As we grow, our aspirations may change. Reflecting on why a dream feels less significant now helps us realign it with our current values and purpose.

🌈 The Bigger Picture
Life’s unpredictability means that realized dreams can lead to unforeseen opportunities and challenges. Embracing this uncertainty can reveal new paths.

🤝 Community Support
Sharing these thoughts fosters connection. Many of us have faced similar struggles and can offer support, guiding each other through moments of doubt.

🧘🕊️ Mindfulness and Acceptance
Practicing mindfulness grounds us in the present, allowing us to appreciate what we’ve achieved, even if it looks different from our original vision. Acceptance isn’t about giving up on dreams; it’s about finding peace with where we are now.

🌬️ 💨 Emotional Release
It’s okay to vent — whether through writing or a good cry. This release is as important as mindfulness, helping to clear the mind and renew perspective.

Pause, breathe, and invite peace in. 🌬️

My Dad: My Superhero, My Life’s Greatest Teacher

Describe a man who has positively impacted your life.

1. The saying “Himmat-e-mardaa toh madad-e-Khuda” is a timeless piece of wisdom my dad often repeats. It reflects his indomitable spirit and has been a guiding light in my life.
2. The reflections on perseverance, family values, and the strength to overcome challenges are inspired by my father’s incredible journey and the values he has instilled in me through his own life experiences.

They say, “Behind every successful man, there is a woman.”

I say, behind every strong and fearless woman is the unwavering support of a father who believed in her, even when the world didn’t. My dad is that pillar of strength who stood by me, defying societal norms and ignoring the judgments of others, choosing instead to raise me with love, pride, and unwavering belief.

He has always been my greatest supporter. Even when his pockets were empty, he never said no to my dreams. His sacrifices, big or small, ensured I felt like the most cherished child in the world. His love wasn’t just about giving—it was about empowering me to become the best version of myself.

My Dad is My Superhero. He loves and cares through thick and thin, no matter how much I offend or annoy him. From him, I learned the invaluable lesson of “Never Give Up,” a mantra I witnessed in action through his livelihood, experiences, teachings, and values. These have shaped me into who I am today—for all the right reasons.

Every time I stand tall, every time I push forward despite challenges, it’s because I know he’s right there, backing me up with his quiet strength and boundless love. His presence in my life continues to nurture and guide me, reminding me every day that I am capable of anything.

A Glimpse of His Challenges

  • Mental/Emotional Front: He gave up higher studies to support the family business as the eldest son. He faced the insolvency of his own business and the failure of multiple startups. Life tested him further as he endured the loss of his parents, brother, and most recently, Mom.
  • Physical Front: He has faced two brain strokes (25 and 24 years ago), a road accident 18 years ago that left his left side less mobile, and continues to deal with multiple health issues.

Despite these challenges on all fronts, my dad remains a fighter who never gives up. He is self-dependent and lives a disciplined life—meditating, exercising, walking, and commuting for work at least 4-5 times a week. His go-to saying, “Himmat-e-mardaa toh madad-e-Khuda,” meaning, “When men dare, God sends help,” perfectly embodies his spirit.

For me, every day is Dad’s Day. Tomorrow might be Father’s Day as per the English calendar, but I celebrate him daily—for his strength, love, and the values he has instilled in me and our family.

Dad, you are my biggest blessing, my first hero, my forever inspiration, and the ultimate fighter. Thank you for believing in me, for standing by me, and for being my rock.

Life’s journey is often guided by those who stand by us through thick and thin, and for me, that guiding force has always been my father.

Takeaway for You
Life is full of challenges, and my dad’s story is a testament to the power of resilience, discipline, and an unwavering “never give up” spirit.

Take a moment today to celebrate your superheroes—the people who inspire you and help shape your life. Let’s cherish their presence, not just on special days but every single day. ❤️
