2024: A Year of Miracles, Growth, and Divine Surrender

As I reflect on 2024, my heart swells with emotions—of gratitude, awe, and reverence for how life has unfolded. What began as a year filled with challenges transformed into an extraordinary journey of manifestations, spiritual blessings, and profound realizations.

Manifesting Dreams Beyond Imagination

The year began with chaos—work pressure at the office mounting, the uncertainty of finding a new flat, and moments of utter exhaustion. For months, I juggled undue pressure at work with increased responsibilities and flat-hunting trips, facing rejection after rejection. Yet, after relentless efforts, I finally found a home in a dream community, one that aligned with my heart in every way. The flat was on the third floor—a number that has always held a special place in my life, symbolizing harmony, luck, and divine connection.

Shortly after settling in, I stumbled upon an old diary. In its pages, I found a forgotten wish I had written years ago—my dream of traveling internationally for the first time, specifically to Europe. This year, that wish became reality. When my trip was confirmed, tears streamed down my face. I hadn’t even remembered writing that wish, but the universe had, and it delivered in the most beautiful way.

Europe was nothing short of magical. I’ll never forget standing in Scotland, caught in unexpected rain without a jacket or umbrella. Nervously, I wished for the rain to stop—and miraculously, it did. Hours later, after buying a raincoat, the rain began again. It was as if the universe was reassuring me that my smallest prayers are heard and answered.

A Gift That Transformed Me

This year also brought me The Magic, a book gifted by my divine mother on her birthday. Its lessons on gratitude opened my eyes to the power of appreciating life, even during the toughest moments. It wasn’t just a book—it became a guide that helped me embrace life’s miracles, big and small, with an open heart.

A Spiritual Awakening

One of the most transformative experiences of 2024 was attending a seven-day course that began on Guru Purnima and ended just a day before my birthday. It felt like a divine gift, an orchestration by the universe that left me feeling deeply connected to my spiritual path. On my birthday, I felt blessed in ways words cannot capture. It was as if the universe was saying, “Here is more than you could have ever asked for.”

Exactly a month later, I was given an incredible opportunity at my workplace to deliver a Mudra Awareness session. Surprisingly, it became a turning point, as I received an overwhelming response that exceeded all expectations. This experience marked the beginning of the sessions I started conducting to spread awareness among family and friends, gradually expanding from the known to the unknown. It was the start of a journey of connection, learning, and growth.

Becoming an Instrument of Healing

Amid these blessings, I began to feel called to give back. This year, I started conducting meditation sessions, guiding others in their healing journeys. Every time someone shared their transformation, I felt a deep sense of fulfillment. It’s humbling to be a part of someone’s path to peace and self-discovery.

Jagannath Puri: A Pilgrimage of the Heart

The year’s culmination was my trip to Jagannath Puri, a place that holds immense spiritual significance for me. As I stood before the sacred temple, memories of the Jagannath temple in Medica Super Specialty Hospital flooded back. It was where my late mother, my greatest guide and strength, found solace during her final days.

I knelt before Lord Jagannath, asking for a place at His feet, but instead, I felt Him pulling me into His heart. That moment melted something within me. The temple reminded me of my mother’s unwavering faith and how, even in her toughest days, she never stopped seeking divine grace.

Puri is the sacred spot where, as the legend goes, Lord Krishna’s heart descended, and from it, the iconic idol of Jagannath was created. For me, this journey was not just physical but deeply spiritual—a merging of hearts, a connection that felt like coming home to my soul.

I stood there, tears rolling down my face, feeling my heart expand with gratitude and awe. I realized that this was more than just a trip; it was a reminder that no matter where life takes us, the love and strength of those we hold dear stay with us, guiding and protecting us.

Let’s focus on the section about your physical ailments and how they shaped your journey in 2024. Here’s a draft of that portion:

Embracing Pain as a Pathway to Wisdom

This year also brought three deeply challenging episodes of physical suffering that tested my resilience and faith. The first struck soon after I returned from Europe, leading to a month of tremendous pain and struggle. The second came after nine days of fasting during Navratri, lasting over two and a half months. It was only after I visited the sacred Jagannath Temple in Puri during Christmas that I found relief. The third episode, though brief, occurred just days before my return from Puri.

Each period of suffering was profound and transformative. During those moments of intense pain, my unwavering faith in the Divine Presence and the love of Lord Jagannath kept me afloat. The trials became opportunities for immense inner growth, teaching me lessons of acceptance, surrender, and resilience.

In the depths of pain, I found solace in the realization that my late mother is in a far better place now—a thought that brought me peace even amidst the turmoil. These challenges deepened my connection to my faith and imparted a wisdom that will stay with me forever.

Takeaways from 2024

  • Gratitude Unlocks Miracles: The power of gratitude transformed my struggles into blessings. A simple shift in perspective can lead to unimaginable outcome.
  • The Universe Listens: Whether it was finding my dream flat or experiencing Scotland’s rain halting at my wish, the universe showed me that our desires are heard and fulfilled in divine timing.
  • Persistence Pays Off: From relentless flat-hunting to navigating challenges at work, pushing forward with determination eventually led to a dream-like resolution.
  • Forgotten Dreams Resurface: My Europe trip was a forgotten wish written years ago that manifested beautifully, reminding me to trust that our dreams never truly fade away—they manifest when the time is right.
  • Faith Sustains Through Pain: During intense physical suffering, my unwavering faith in the Divine provided strength and solace.
  • Acceptance Brings Peace: Embracing suffering instead of resisting it opened the door to profound inner growth and wisdom.
  • Resilience is Built in Struggles: Each painful episode became a stepping stone to developing unshakable resilience and inner strength.
  • Divine Timing Heals: The visit to Jagannath Temple during Christmas marked the turning point of my healing, reaffirming the power of divine timing.
  • Spiritual Connection Deepens: The trip to Jagannath Puri and the Guru Purnima course were deeply transformative, reinforcing my belief in divine guidance and spiritual growth.
  • Mother’s Eternal Presence: Jagannath Puri reminded me of my mother’s strength, faith, and love, showing me that those we lose in the physical world remain with us in spirit, guiding us.
  • Healing Is a Shared Journey: Conducting meditation sessions this year has been humbling, teaching me the beauty of being an instrument in someone’s healing process.
  • Surrender Brings Fulfillment: Letting go of control and trusting the process brought blessings far beyond what I could have imagined.
  • Faith in Action: From forgotten wishes to spiritual awakenings, 2024 proved that faith, combined with consistent effort, creates miracles.
  • From Struggles to Upliftment: The year began with challenges and struggles but evolved into a journey of growth and awakening. The trip to Jagannath Puri symbolized this transformation—melting away the weight of life’s difficulties and immersing me in the heart of creation, where divine connection and grace led me to peace and profound understanding.

Each moment of 2024, from the struggles to the blessings, carried a lesson: that life is a journey of faith, gratitude, and surrender.

May we always find the courage to surrender, the heart to believe, and the strength to embrace the beauty of the unknown.

Unleashing Potential: A Legacy Rooted in Gratitude and Love

Tell us one thing you hope people say about you.

I want everyone to cherish and appreciate the greatness of parents, especially mom, who raised with so much pain and sacrifice. But this isn’t limited to mother and father in human form—it extends beyond this realm, to the formless realm from where they came.

All credit for who I am goes to my creator, not me. I am simply on a journey of self-discovery, finding my way back home, where my mom resides. I deeply respect her presence here in the form of Mother Nature, who resides in every particle of my being.

I wish to bring a movement that transcends generations, uplifting lives and helping people unleash their true potential. This is my dream—to create a legacy where each individual connects with their roots, discovers their path, and passes on the light of growth and empowerment for generations to come. For me, the fondness and love of my creator are everything

Rooted in gratitude, guided by the creator, and driven by a dream—to uplift lives and ignite a legacy of unleashed potential across generations.” – Priyanka Murarka

Sleep Soundly: Shoonya Vayu Mudra & Wellness Tips for Insomnia

Sleepless nights can feel endless, leaving you drained and unproductive. Insomnia, whether it’s difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep, or waking up too early, affects countless lives. But what causes it, and how can you reclaim restful nights naturally?

Understanding Insomnia: Root Causes

Insomnia stems from various factors, including:

  1. Stress and Anxiety: Racing thoughts and heightened stress levels disrupt the body’s ability to relax.
  2. Poor Sleep Hygiene: Irregular sleep schedules, excessive screen time, or consuming stimulants close to bedtime can interfere with restful sleep.
  3. Medical Conditions: Chronic pain, hormonal imbalances, or mental health disorders often contribute to sleep issues.
  4. Lifestyle Choices: Lack of physical activity and unhealthy eating habits may exacerbate insomnia.

Practices to Overcome Insomnia

To combat insomnia, consider incorporating these strategies into your routine:

  • Establish a Sleep Schedule: Go to bed and wake up at the same time daily to regulate your body’s internal clock.
  • Create a Calming Pre-Sleep Routine: Engage in relaxing activities like reading, meditation, or listening to soft music.
  • Optimize Your Sleep Environment: Keep your bedroom dark, quiet, and cool.
  • Limit Screen Time: Avoid screens at least an hour before bed to reduce blue light exposure.
  • Embrace Natural Remedies: Practices like yoga, mindfulness, and mudras can significantly improve sleep quality.

The Power of Shoonya Vayu Mudra for Insomnia

Mudras, the ancient art of hand gestures, channel energy within the body and can promote mental and physical well-being. Shoonya Vayu Mudra is particularly effective in calming the mind and enhancing sleep quality.

How to Practice Shoonya Vayu Mudra:

  1. 🖐️ Position: Gently press the tips of your index finger and middle finger against the base of your thumb while keeping the other fingers extended in both hands.
  2. 🌬️ Breathing: Practice deep, slow breaths for 10 minutes while holding this mudra.
  3. 📅 Timing: Incorporate it into your nightly routine, ensuring not to practice it within 30 minutes after a meal.
  4. 🚫 Note: Avoid practicing the mudra within 30 minutes of eating.

Consistent practice can help you achieve deep relaxation and combat insomnia naturally.

Anchor Your Night with Gratitude

Before slipping into sleep, reflect on your day with gratitude. A simple Gratitude Prayer can help you release tension and foster a peaceful mindset:

“Thank you for this day—its joys, lessons, and even challenges. I am grateful for all I have received and continue to receive. Whether my experiences were good, bad, or worse, I embrace them as part of my journey. Good days are blessings; bad days are teachers. As I rest tonight, may my heart be filled with gratitude and my sleep be rejuvenated. Tomorrow, I will rise with renewed energy and grace.”

Practicing gratitude not only shifts your focus from stress to positivity but also enhances overall well-being. Research shows that gratitude can improve sleep by reducing intrusive thoughts and fostering calmness.

Remember, every small step toward self-care is an investment in your long-term happiness and health. Begin tonight by calming your mind and embracing gratitude.

When Dreams Don’t Match Timing: Embrace Growth and Meaning

✨ Sometimes certain dreams do come true; it’s just that the timing feels incorrect to the extent that it feels meaningless. ✨

This thought resonates deeply with many of us. We’ve all had dreams that once held immense significance, yet when they finally came to pass, they felt disconnected or even disappointing. Why? Because sometimes, our spirit isn’t yet ready to receive what we once longed for.

Embracing the Right Timing

Timing isn’t just about the moment; it’s about the readiness of our spirit to hold what we once dreamed of.” — Priyanka Murarka 🌱

I’ve experienced this firsthand. There were times when I found myself achieving things I once desired, yet feeling completely unprepared. To ground myself, I turned to mudra therapy—a practice that has become an anchor in my life.

🌿 Gyan Mudra for Peace

Simply touch the tip of your index finger to your thumb while breathing deeply. This mudra calms the mind, helping to reduce restlessness and foster a sense of acceptance.

Below are a few reflections on navigating the complex interplay between dreams, timing, and the journey we’re on.

⏳ Learning from Delayed Gratification

When dreams come true at unexpected times, they remind us that life is about growth and patience. Sometimes, it takes experiencing a “wrong-timed” achievement to fully appreciate what still needs to be learned or developed.

🚀 Finding Value in the Journey

Each step toward a dream, even when the timing feels off, has value. The journey shapes us, transforming who we are. It’s a reminder that the process can be just as meaningful as the destination, if not more so.

🔄 Reassessing Dreams Over Time

With growth, our aspirations often shift. When a dream starts feeling less relevant, it’s a cue to re-evaluate. Ask yourself: does it still align with my values? Realigning dreams with who we are now allows us to continue on a path that feels authentic.

🌈 Embracing the Bigger Picture

The unpredictability of life means that dreams coming true—whenever they do—might lead to opportunities and challenges we never anticipated. Instead of resisting this, we can embrace the flow, allowing new paths to unfold naturally.

🤝 The Strength in Community Support

Sharing our experiences connects us with others facing similar doubts. Through community, we can offer guidance, support, and comfort, reminding each other that none of us are alone on this journey.

🧘 Mindfulness and Acceptance

Practicing mindfulness helps us ground ourselves in the present. Achieving a dream may look different from our original vision, but that doesn’t lessen its value. Acceptance is about finding peace with where we are now, even if it’s not exactly what we envisioned.

🌬️ Emotional Release: A Necessary Part of Growth

It’s okay to release emotions—whether through writing, talking to a friend, or simply having a good cry. Letting go of these feelings can help clear the mind and make space for a renewed perspective.

Pause, breathe, and allow yourself to find peace, no matter where you are on your journey.

Final Thoughts: Embracing Life’s Timing and Finding Peace in Every Step 🌿

️As you reflect on your journey, remember that while timing may be beyond our control, our response is in our hands. Each “misplaced” dream teaches us patience, resilience, and the art of letting go. 🌱✨

Pause, breathe, and honor where you are. Sometimes, it’s in the stillness that we find the peace and purpose we’re seeking. 💫

Trust your path, and let each step guide you forward. 🌿💛

Unlock the Power of Gratitude: Simple Daily Habit for Better Well-being

As you start your day, take a moment to express gratitude for the simple gift of a new morning. Did you know you would wake up today? It’s a beautiful reminder of the uncertainty of life. Reflect on your breath—each inhale and exhale is a vital connection to the world around you. Have you ever paused to appreciate the air filling your lungs?

When your feet hit the ground, give thanks to Mother Earth. She supports not just your body but also carries the weight of humanity’s actions—our waste, pollution, and exploitation of natural resources. Consider the impact of global warming and the responsibility we share in nurturing our planet.

Think about the food you consume. Countless people contribute to its journey—from farmers tending their fields to those processing and transporting it. Every spice and ingredient reflects a tapestry of labor and love. It’s a miracle that every meal represents the efforts of many souls.

Could you go a day without water? Most of us can’t fathom even a few hours without it. Reflect on how often you express gratitude for this essential element. Water sustains life, yet we often take it for granted. Acknowledge its role in your daily existence.

Four Pillars of Life

As you navigate through the hustle and bustle of life, remember the four areas where gratitude can transform your experience:

  1. Physical Health: Appreciate your body and the health you have. Consider how you can nurture it further.
  2. Mental Health: Acknowledge your thoughts and emotions. Practice mindfulness and self-care to enhance your mental well-being.
  3. Wealth: Reflect on your relationship with money. Be grateful for what you have, and think about how you can use your resources wisely.
  4. Relationships: Cherish your connections with yourself, family, friends, and even strangers. Foster kindness and understanding in all your interactions.

Take time each day to dive deep into gratitude. Identify specific elements in your life—big or small—that deserve acknowledgment. This practice can enrich your experience, cultivate joy, and foster a deeper connection with the world around you.

By embracing gratitude, you not only improve your own life but also contribute to a more compassionate and aware community. Start today, and let gratitude transform your perspective.

Transform Your Life: How Shifting Beliefs Can Unlock Your True Potential

“Our beliefs are like a lens we use to view life; we see what we convince ourselves is true.” – Vex King

Have you ever read or heard something that resonated so deeply that it felt like a truth you always knew, but just couldn’t articulate? I often find myself in such moments, where words from others mirror the experiences and emotions I’ve held within.

This makes me wonder: If our beliefs shape our reality, doesn’t that mean that by changing our beliefs, we can change our lives?

I grew up in humble circumstances, where life wasn’t always easy. Yet, through my mother’s unwavering strength, faith, and perseverance, she created a life for us that seemed to defy the odds. Her belief in love, hope, and the possibility of brighter days shaped not only her reality but mine as well. She found light in the darkest of times, and even when I couldn’t see any hope, she held onto it fiercely.

Her belief that love could heal, inspire, and overcome any obstacle was a lesson she lived every day. This belief system, deeply rooted in her heart, became the foundation of the life she built for us. As the youngest, much was hidden from me, including our financial struggles. But even as a child, I observed and sensed more than I understood. My mother’s beliefs – her conviction that love could make anything possible – became my guiding light, motivating me to strive for a better life for my family.

I am who I am because of her. The thoughts I think, the words I speak, the experiences I live – they all stem from the beliefs she instilled in me. I lived the brighter side of life because she shielded me from the storms, believing that I deserved to see the world through a lens of love and hope.

When my mother’s soul left this world, I learned stories of her life that shattered me. I could finally understand the silent battles she fought during 50 years of marriage, battles that were laid bare in her final days. The suffering I witnessed in her last 38 days will stay with me forever, a torment I carry in my soul. Yet, even in her suffering, her belief in love’s power never wavered.

My mother, a woman of immense strength, sacrificed her desires and needs to shape me into a better person. Her belief in me, in our family, and in the power of love, is the root of my inspiration.

My father, the only graduate of his generation, also held beliefs that shaped his life. He aspired to continue his studies but was denied by his parents. Life pushed him into the business world, where he faced many trials and was even expelled disrespectfully. Yet, he persevered, eventually finding his path in the insurance business. Even now, at 70+, his belief in hard work and resilience imparts strength to me.

Through the beliefs my parents held and lived by, I’ve come to realize that the deepest roots of my inspiration are found at home, long before I seek them elsewhere. Their beliefs shaped their lives, and in turn, they shaped mine.

Through the beliefs my parents held and lived by, I’ve come to realize that the deepest roots of my inspiration are found at home, long before I seek them elsewhere. Their beliefs shaped their lives, and in turn, they shaped mine.

I cultivated a habit of reading in the last few years, immersing myself in stories and ideas that challenged and expanded my understanding of the world. These stories, filled with diverse perspectives and wisdom, further fueled the evolution of my belief system. I’ve come to appreciate that while our foundational beliefs are often inherited from those we admire, they can and should evolve over time. We must remain open and adaptable if we are to truly take flight in life.

To grow and soar, we must embrace new ideas that reshape our beliefs and reality. Just as my parents’ beliefs shaped my life, I must evolve mine to navigate the future.

Spirituality Made Simple: A Modern Approach to Inner Peace

Recently, a close friend asked me, “Hey, why don’t you give me some tips on spirituality?” The question took me by surprise, but it also brought a smile to my face.

Some people often look at me as if I’ve renounced all worldly pleasures just because I don’t go clubbing or socialize in the way many do and because I am single in 30s. The truth is, I’m selective in my choices, both in how I spend my time and the people I choose to be with. I deeply value my time and prefer to invest it in ways that align with my values and priorities.

It made me realize how many misconceptions people have about what spirituality truly means.

When most people hear the word “spirituality,” they often envision a life detached from material possessions, perhaps living as a sage in the Himalayas or engaging in rigorous rituals at home. This image, while not entirely incorrect, is just one facet of spirituality. The reality is much more accessible and deeply woven into our everyday lives.

Spirituality has become a topic of great interest in our era, as more and more people worldwide seek to take control of their lives. They are starting to recognize their responsibility towards themselves—their well-being, their mental health, and their overall happiness.

When my friend asked for advice, I explained that spirituality is not about renouncing the world or living an austere life. Instead, it’s about living fully in the present moment and making the most of each day. It’s about striving to improve yourself every single day, whether that means taking care of your mental well-being, staying physically fit, eating healthy, or maintaining focus and dedication in your work. It’s about cultivating healthy relationships and being the change, you wish to see in the world.

In essence, spirituality is about conscious living. It’s about responding to challenging situations with calm and clarity, rather than reacting impulsively. It’s about staying alert, being mindful of your thoughts, actions, and their impact on others. Unfortunately, in today’s fast-paced world, spirituality is often misunderstood as something unattainable or irrelevant, especially by those who are caught up in the rat race, neglecting their health, well-being, and personal growth.

But spirituality is far from a taboo or a relic of the past. It’s a way of life that brings balance, peace, and a deeper understanding of oneself and the world around us. I truly hope that more people will come to see spirituality for what it really is—a path to living a more fulfilled and conscious life. May Lord Krishna guide us all towards this wisdom.

Hare Krishna!

A New Dawn: The Rebirth of My Soul After Loss

After Mumma departed from this realm on January 27, 2023, it felt as though I had been reborn. The six months that followed have changed my life forever. Her deep-rooted nurturing and unconditional love shaped me even before I entered this world, and now I see her influence in every aspect of my life.

Here are just a few ways her essence continues to guide me:

  • The strength to hold myself together through life’s challenges.
  • The courage to face the material world with dignity.
  • The resilience to stand by Dad and Sisters, supporting them as she would have.
  • The patience to endure obstacles without losing hope.
  • The ability to manage household responsibilities while staying dedicated to work.
  • The focus and love I bring to every project I undertake.
  • The discipline to meditate daily, which grounds and centers me.

Her legacy inspires me to embrace the small joys of life:

  • Reading books, praying, and engaging in activities that nourish my soul.
  • Cultivating hobbies like music, journaling, and gardening.
  • Finding compassion and empathy even amidst challenges.

Her blessings have brought new teachers and connections into my life:

  • Nisha Mam, who ignited my passion for learning Mudra and understanding the five elements.
  • Preeti Mam, who showers me with love and compassion and became my first-ever reading partner.
  • Relatives who now show love and care, replacing the bitterness that once existed.
  • Support from maids, security personnel, the cook, neighbors, my Mudra group, the Sujok clinic, work seniors and colleagues.
  • Even strangers—Uber drivers, rickshaw pullers, vendors—offer me kindness that feels orchestrated by Mumma herself.

This list is endless, just like her love.

I see Mumma as the doer, while I am simply an instrument of her will. My life is entirely surrendered to her guidance, and I accept everything as a gift from her.

Sometimes, people ask me to “pray to your mom for this or that.” It’s difficult to explain that her blessings are already woven into every part of my life. Asking for more feels like a disservice to the infinite abundance she has already provided.

Mumma lives within me, in every quark and gluon of my being. Knowing that she is at peace, free from pain, and united with the divine gives me the strength and inspiration to move forward.

Embracing Love and Gratitude: A Legacy Beyond Loss

Life has a way of unfolding beyond our control, and sometimes, the hardest moments—like loss—offer the most profound revelations about who we truly are. My journey with Mumma’s wisdom has shown me that love and gratitude have the power to transcend all boundaries, even beyond the physical realm.

If you’re reading this, I urge you to pause and truly reflect. The relationships that shape you are gifts—take a moment to express deep gratitude for them. Honor the love, the lessons, and the sacrifices, and let those teachings guide you in every step you take. Whether it’s in nurturing your bonds, showing compassion, or simply being present, every action matters. Even the smallest gesture holds infinite power.

Cherish those you hold dear, honor their legacies, and remember this: life’s deepest essence lies not in material gains, but in the boundless love we give, the service we offer, and the surrender we embrace.
